The PAR for Primary Production (PPP) project will explore satellite algorithms to provide the maximum of radiative quantities inputs necessary for the modelling of underwater ecosystems.
An upcoming workshop on "Colour and Light in the Ocean from Earth Observation (CLEO)" will be held at ESA-ESRIN, Frascati, Italy on 6-8 September 2016.
This workshop is a collaboration between a number of ESA Scientific Exploitation of Operational Missions (SEOM) projects working on ocean carbon, photosynthetically active radiation and primary production and extreme case two waters; and is supported by additional ESA project partners.
The workshop is designed to engage with the user community about new satellite data products from these projects and to develop a roadmap for future activities and applications of these products in the ocean science and modelling communities.
